Donald (Doctor M) has been singing since he was 9 years old. Family has deep ties to gospel and soul music, so the soul has been marinating for some time. Naturally in the basement vocally, DR can reach notes that can make your momma cry. Influenced by some legends such as Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye in addition to some rising legends in Cee-Lo, John Legend and Robin Thicke. Got a taste of the grand stage while singing with the Backstreet Boys in 1999 and has played with Afroman and The Wailers with SFD. Along with the bowel rumbling vocals, DR also writes songs with lyrics you cannot get out of your head and has been working on playing guitar. Recently, he sat as the lead judge of SoundBar Idol 2, filling the role of Simon Cowell.

DeBraun Thomas got into music at a young age. His father, being a musician himself, had a strong influence on him. DeBraun picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and has been playing since. DeBraun plays a few different styles and blends them to create his own sound. He uses the influence of Rock, Funk, Blues, and Reggae to create his unique sound. He plays with much passion and emotion which comes through his music. His biggest influences include Eddie Hazel, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Yavuz Çetin, Stevie Ray Vaughan. He is currently attending school at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky and where he continues to write and record music.

Jeff is an experienced performer and educator in many areas of percussion- including drum set, concert percussion, percussion ensemble, solo marimba, marching percussion, and steel band.  Armed with a masters degree in music, he has provided percussive sounds for various muscians in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, and Kentucky.  Although originally growing up in Dallas, he is happy to be funkin it up in Kentucky.  Some of Jeff's strongest musical influences include Carter Beauford, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, and Phil Collins.

Passionate, dedicated and solid, Jairaj Swann is a versatile bassist with a variety of influences. Born in Augusta, Georgia, and raised in Massachusetts from the age of 5, his early exposure to southern R&B and funk and later introduction to jazz and blues helped to develop his voice on his instrument.

After 22 years living in Boston, Jairaj returned to Georgia in 2000 to reconnect with his roots. Based out of Atlanta and Lexington, he has been active on the music scene playing with bands including The Michael Levine Band, The Subject, Jake Sharp Band and Coy Bowles & The Fellowship.

Jairaj cites his strongest musical influences as Anthony Jackson, James Jamerson, Pino Palladino, Donald “Duck” Dunn and Jaco Pastorius.
